Pura Aditya Jaya
How Aditya Jaya Temple offers virtual worship services using Logitech Video Collaboration tools
Pura Aditya Jaya is one of Jakarta’s oldest and largest Hindu temples. Since opening in 1973, it's been the center of worship, cultural, and educational activities for Hindus in Jakarta and surrounding cities.
Pura Aditya Jaya Temple has been a religious center for the Hindu communities in Jakarta since opening in 1973. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and restrictions made it impossible to continue activities as normal, the temple had to limit in-person gathering.
In response, Pura Aditya Jaya shifted to virtual technology, using Logitech Video Collaboration solutions to offer virtual worship services.
With the spread of COVID-19, Pura Aditya Jaya Temple needed to comply with government-mandated restrictions regarding large gatherings. The temple adapted by hosting virtual worship activities.
That meant they needed a reliable and easy-to-use video conferencing system to ensure that worship activities can be carried out virtually without any delays or technical difficulties.
Pura Aditya Jaya Temple uses Logitech Room Solutions for Zoom to offer online worship services. Supported by a 4K Ultra-HD imaging system, the Rally Plus modular video conferencing system for large rooms delivers sharp, high-quality video.
With a 90° field of view, up to 15x total zoom capability, and beamforming mics with voice-levelling and noise suppression, viewers could clearly see and hear services without being there in person.
With Logitech Rally Plus, Aditya Jaya Temple was able to maintain the quality of their worship services while also adapting to ever-changing COVID-19 restrictions. Thanks to their new online format, they expanded their reach to the Hindu communities throughout the archipelago.
Logitech Room Solutions’ capability to provide an in-room experience with clear video and audio also supports the Temple in performing virtual religious ceremonies. People can pray together and pay tributes to others from the safety of their homes.
